Configuring Windows CE


1) Click the Start button and select Programs

2) Double tap the "Communications" folder.  Double tap the "Remote Communications" folder.  Double tap the "Make New Connection" folder.  In the "Type a name for the Connection" box put "NOL".  Select "Dial Up Connection".   Tap the Next button.

3) From the "Select Modem" list chose your modem.  Enter 713-554-4500 in the "Telephone Number" box.  Tap the "Configure" button.

4) Select the appropriate BAUD Rate for your modem.  For 14.4 modems use 19200.  For 28.8 modems use 38400.  For 56K Modems use 57600.  Tap OK on them menu bar.

5) Tap the TCP/IP Settings button.

6) Check "Server Assigned IP Address".  Uncheck "Log On To Network".  Uncheck "Use Software Compression".  Uncheck "Use IP Header Compression".   Uncheck "Server Assigned Name Server Addresses".  In the Primary DSN box put 206.126.32.101.  In the Secondary DNS box put 206.126.32.200.  On the menu bar tap OK.
